  2. Heat Transfer: The DUOTHERM unit directs this hot oil through a highly efficient plate heat exchanger.
  3. Water Heating: Cold water (e.g., mains water, process water, or water from a heating circuit) flows counter-currently through the other side of the heat exchanger. The heat from the oil is transferred to the water.
  4. Hot Water Output: The water exits the DUOTHERM unit at an elevated temperature (often up to 70°C or better), ready for use.
  5. Cooled Oil Return: The now-cooler oil returns to the compressor’s oil cooler (or directly to the compressor), ensuring optimal operating temperatures for the compressor itself.
