PCM Engineering’s Dunfermline branch has completed a new compressed air installation, bringing together three 55 kW compressors and two adsorption dryers.
The installation has a total compressor rating of 165 kW. Its compressor line-up comprises two fixed-speed units and one variable-speed unit, alongside the two adsorption dryers.
Every compressed air installation needs to be considered in the context of the site and its requirements. For this project, the Dunfermline team installed a combination of compressor and air treatment equipment as part of one system.
Adsorption dryers are used in compressed air systems where dry air is required for the application. The two dryers form part of this installation’s air treatment equipment.
